It has been 10 years since Gallery Lambton closed its doors at the former Bayside Centre and moved down the street to re-open in the historic Thom Building as the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery. To honour its first decade in this purpose-built facility, the gallery is installing a series of exhibitions over the next year and a half titled Re View. The exhibitions place the gallery’s permanent collection in the spotlight and celebrates the power of art

A Family Palette: Frances-Anne Johnston, Franklin Arbuckle and Franz Johnston.
October 6, 2023 – March 16, 2024
A Family Palette brings together for the first time the work of Frances-Anne Johnston, Franz Johnston and Franklin Arbuckle – three artists from the same family. Acting as a purposeful feminist recovery project, the exhibition focuses more deeply on Frances-Anne.
The exhibition is organized and circulated by Ottawa Art Gallery and curated by Rebecca Basciano.
