Offsite Impact Heat Up August First Friday

In the heat of the summer, what better band to have play at Cheeky Monkey for the August 4th First Friday than the ultra cool, Offsite Impact.

They are a 5-piece, up-beat rock and roll band from Sarnia, Ontario made up of Paul Eastman (Drums), George Leenhouts (Guitar/Vocals), Kevin Churchill (Guitar/Vocals), Dale White (Keyboards/ Back-up Vocals) and Barry White (Frontman/Vocals/Bass Guitar).   They give a refreshing and high-energy performance filled with classic rock hits spiced up with modern dance songs.  From The Black Keys to The Cars,  Lynyrd Skynyrd to Bruno Mars, there is truly something for all to enjoy.  This is real live music played by real musicians. Their  entertainment factor is off the chain with lots of crowd interaction making this band unique and fun.  A treat to watch as well as listen to! Offsite Impact is sure to leave the audience  chanting “more, more, more”!

A few days after First Friday, on Sunday, August 6th, they will be playing at the  GranFondo Bike event which is raising money for the St. Joseph’s Hospice and Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit.  Offsite Impact will be volunteering their time to play there starting around 11:00 am at Mike Weir Park and it is open to all, not just riders.

Stop in to Cheeky Monkey, the record store located at 130 Christina Street North, to find out for yourself what all the buzz over Offsite Impact is about from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. during the August 4th First Friday Cultural Walkabout.
