Green Drinks Sarnia is the host of the annual event – City Of Sarnia Go Green Award Nominee Appreciation Event. The evening always includes mixing and mingling with businesses, youth and others who have been nominated in at the awards.
The event starts at 6:30 PM at 100 Christina St. N. in downtown Sarnia. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome.
“The awards are about acknowledging the good work of Citizens, and promoting the city as green and progressive” Says Counselor Brian White, “The more exposure that we can give to businesses and individuals that are making positive changes and contributing to environmental stewardship the more we hope the message will spread.”
There are six categories including small and medium to large business, eco-warrior, community stewardship, greenest classroom, and youth or youth group.
Green Drinks Sarnia also hands out environmental stewardship awards on Earth Day.
Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to join and attend these events.

Each Month a topic is selected and a person knowledgeable about the topic is asked to lead the discussion.
Green Drinks Sarnia happens on the second Wednesday of every month.
